Sapphire is back to enthusiast level Radeon with the Toxic Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition. The very best Radeon RX 6900 XT money can buy, and a marvel to ogle at...wowzers.

An out-the-box boost clock of 2,365MHz makes this the fastest Radeon we've ever tested, the 360mm radiator also makes it the coolest, and single-click Toxic Boost overclocking takes any guesswork out of the equation. A heady combination, but the Toxic card isn't perfect. Ignoring the inevitable stock issues - which will be severe - there's also the matter of coil whine, pump noise and rambunctious fan profiles. Though this may be the fastest and coolest RX 6900 XT, it certainly isn't the quietest.

The obvious question to ask would be, ‘why not just buy an RTX 3090?’ and I think that is a valid question. For as close as the Toxic comes to the RTX 3090, it is 3% slower at 4K, and that’s when the GPU is at it’s limit, whereas there is still scope to overclock the RTX 3090 and stretch that lead further.
